 Rehabilitation and out of school activities
 Aural – speech rehabilitation and out of school forms of education are one of the main directions in the activity of ARDUS. The interest to these activities is great. They are financed from the governmental subsidy and include the children of our members from whole Bulgaria.
The main aim of the rehabilitation process is the complete integration and socialization of the children with injured hearing. The best way for its reaching and the possibility a larger part of the children to visit a schools general education. This leaded to establishment of resource offices and centers for rehabilitation of hearing and speech in the places of residence.
On 1 October 1997 a long dream of parents come true with the initiative of ARDUS in kindergarten ¹ 13 “Liuliakova gradina” in complex Liulin the first integrated group was opened. The children visit a kindergarten of general education and simultaneously with that special pedagogue organizes rehabilitation of hearing and speech.
There is such kindergarten in Pleven – kindergarten “Temenuga”, Burgas, Dupnitsa
Thanks to the willingness of the parents and the cooperation of specialized school for children with injured hearing – Sofia and department “Special pedagogy” resource offices opened doors in the schools of general education – Schools: 25th, 96th, 34th, 151st and other. The initiative of the parents from other towns was not late – Sandanski, Burgas, Pleven, Dupnitsa and other.
The outs of school activities are considered with the interests and wishes of the children: pantomime, computer courses, sport, arts, wood – carving, music and other.
In the future The Association will continue to work for building a system for integrated education of children with injured hearing that corresponds to the European and world standards.
