 Development of the abilities for mutual help between the parents of children with injured hearing with the aim survival and going out of the social isolation (project 1)
 The project was supported in front of and financed by foundation “Development of Public Community” realized in 1997-1998. Our partner was the centre for work with children “Vazrajdane”.
As first project it was realized of the Association with great enthusiasm and great willingness.
The aims were realized and enlarged to their maximum. The team working on this project listened attentively in the willingness of all participants and enlarged very much its preliminary limits. The work was in three directions:
Work with parents – seminars, trainings, work meetings.
Work with children – uncovering and development of the creative abilities of the children.
Social work – charity concerts and giving of personal food packages.
Families with children at different age and learning in public schools and special educational schools were included. The interest was great. The themes for the seminars were actual, interested and necessary. The lecturers were very carefully chosen. People appreciated the given possibility to meet, to exchange experience and to create new friendships - personal and between their children.
Charity concerts for The International day of deaf people and The International day of the invalids were organized with the participation of children from all schools, our friends from the Centre for work with children and many famous guests: politicians and show – stars. The raised resources were given to orphans
Work with children was organized with the help and the willingness of the teachers from “Vazrajdane” centre.
The brightest beam from this period was the group of pantomime created as a joke and won 4 gold medals only for six month of work.
In this project school appliance and food packages for the children form all special schools and children from schools of general education were bought.
The team was morally satisfied by the well-done work and the accomplished dreams.
