 “Early rehabilitation of children with abnormalities in the aural analyzer” (project 3)supported in front of Foundation” Open Community” – 1998/1999  The children with injured hearing in the age of 0 to 1 year are not included in any form of special influence. In these cases precious time for rehabilitation is lost and because of the detention in finding and the diagnosis of the corresponding abnormality. As some examinations are necessary until the giving of the final diagnosis, the brochure “Pre – diagnostic play therapy” will be useful for all the children with abnormalities in early age. After the diagnosis “surditas” the brochure “Play therapy for children with injured hearing” will give an opportunity of the parents not to miss the time until the ensconcing of the child in special institution and to join actively in the correctional – educational process instead of searching needless cure.
 Aim of the project:
The aim is to unite the efforts of micro paediatrists, regional paediatrists, audiologists, parents and special pedagogues for early discovering of hearing injures, for timely diagnosis and adequate beginning of the rehabilitation process.
Results:
A conference was organized: “Preventive measures for compensating the results of deafness” with the participation of paediatrists, audiologists, pedagogues, parents and specialists from different institutions from all the country.
A brochure with instructions for games with children with special needs in early childhood in two parts: From 0 to 2 years and from 2 to5 years with a title ”Pre – diagnostic play therapy” is published.
A brochure with games for treatment of sounds in home conditions with a title “Play therapy for children with injured hearing” is published
24 features were published. Transmissions in national television and national radio were made.
The activity in this project received response in the counties members of FEPEDA, too. Materials for the problem for the early diagnosis were sent from there.
